Return and Refund Policy

At Fruten Fraten, we take pride in delivering premium, limited-edition fragrances. Due to the nature of our products, please review our return and refund conditions carefully before placing an order.


1. Right of Withdrawal (Unopened Products Only)

Customers may request a return within 14 days of receiving the product, provided that:

  • The product is completely unopened

  • The original packaging is intact

  • The protective seal is unbroken

  • The item has not been used, tested, or damaged

Fragrances are considered hygiene-sensitive products. Once the protective seal or packaging has been opened, the right of withdrawal is automatically void.


2. Opened or Used Perfumes

For health, safety, and quality control reasons:

Perfume products cannot be returned or refunded once the seal has been broken.

This applies even if:

  • The product has only been sprayed once

  • The scent does not meet personal preference

  • The customer changes their mind after opening

By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and accept this condition.


3. Return Shipping Costs

If a return is approved (unopened items only):

  • The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.

  • Shipping fees are non-refundable.

  • We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service.

Fruten Fraten is not responsible for returned items lost during transit.


4. Inspection & Refund Approval

Once we receive the returned item:

  • The product will be inspected.

  • If the item meets all return conditions, a refund will be issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

  • If the product is returned opened, damaged, or without original packaging, the refund will be refused.


5. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged or incorrect item:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery

  • Provide clear photos of the product and packaging

  • Include your order number

If verified, we will provide a replacement or refund at our discretion.


6. Pre-Orders

Pre-order purchases follow the same return conditions:

  • Unopened items may be returned within 14 days of delivery.

  • Opened pre-order items cannot be returned.

Production wait times do not qualify as a reason for return, as timelines are clearly communicated prior to purchase.


7. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • Personal scent preference

  • Minor packaging variations

  • Delays caused by shipping carriers or customs

  • Refusal to pay customs/import fees


8. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

We strongly encourage customers to contact our support team before initiating a payment dispute.

Opening a chargeback without prior communication while a valid solution is available may be considered abuse of the dispute system. We reserve the right to submit full evidence of communication, shipping confirmation, and policy acceptance to the payment provider.
